EUGENE, Ore. -- (February 26, 2015) – “NewArt Northwest Kids: Last Night I Had the Strangest Dream,” the title for this year’s JSMA annual K-12 exhibition, is on view in the Education Corridor Galleries through May 19, 2015. In its eighth year, the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art received almost 400 submissions from twenty-one schools from which fifty-six works were selected.

EUGENE, Ore. -- (January 21, 2015) – Schnitzer Cinema continues its look at American experimental media and the history of American avant-garde film with the winter/spring season. Curated by Cinema Pacific director Richard Herskowitz, all films begin at 7 p.m. at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art on the University of Oregon campus and include free popcorn and soda.

EUGENE, Ore. -- (November 19, 2014) – The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art invites families to spend a fun-filled day at the museum enjoying free family-friendly activities at Día de la Familia on Saturday, December 13, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Supported by a grant from the Oregon Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency, Día de la Familia coincides with the Feast Day of the Virgin Guadalupe.
