Decompress with Art: Sketching in the Galleries
Join us for a monthly Art Heals program exclusively for University of Oregon students. Workshop materials and themes will change monthly throughout the term. In March’s hour-long workshop, participants will be invited to sketch in the galleries while listening to their favorite music. Light refreshments, as well as colored pencils, markers, and oil pastels, will be available in the studio after students are finished sketching in the Galleries if they would like to add color to their artwork. All art materials will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring a phone or MP3 player and headphones to listen to music while sketching. The program is free, but pre-registration is required. 24 spots available. Please email artheals@uoregon.edu to reserve a spot. You will receive a confirmation from a JSMA museum staff member.
