Prince Lucien Campbell Memorial Courtyard

The Prince Lucien Campbell Memorial Courtyard, dedicated on June 12, 1932, honors the fourth president of the University of Oregon, Prince Lucien Campbell. Designed by Dean Lawrence of the University of Oregon School of Architecture, the courtyard reflects Campbell's legacy and personality, funded by his friends and family after his death in 1925. Featuring a gold glass mosaic dome with a bronze bust by A. Phimister Proctor and adorned with sculptures by Oliver Barrett and Richard Bock, the courtyard also includes ornamental light fixtures and decorative elements inspired by Oregon's flora and fauna.
