The annual NewArt Northwest Kids exhibition returns to the Jordan Schintzer Museum of Art on the University of Oregon campus for its twelfth year. This year’s theme, Protecting the Northwest’s Natural Beauty, examines the roles people have in caring for the environment and recognizing the collective responsibility to preserve the quality and safekeeping of the land, air, water, plants, and animals. Participating schools include the Bridgeway House, Springfield; Bertha Holt Elementary School, Eugene; Charlemagne Elementary School, Eugene; Churchill High School, Eugene; Edison Elementary School, Eugene; Elmira High School, Elmira; Howard Elementary School, Eugene; Irving Elementary School, Eugene; McKenzie Elementary School, Vida; Oaklea Middle School, Junction City; Saraha Children’s School, Eugene; Springfield High School, Springfield; Teach Northwest, Marcola; Territorial Elementary School, Junction City; Wellsprings Friends School, Eugene; and Yujin Gakuen Japanese Immersion Elementary School, Eugene.
