Drop-in Tours

An Exhibition Interpreter is available in the galleries the first Friday and first Saturday of each month to offer drop-in tours or in-depth discussion of various exhibitions. Check the JSMA’s Event Calendar for updated availability.

Virtual Tours

The JSMA invites you to take a virtual tour of selected special exhibitions and permanent collection galleries. Each tour allows you to stroll through the museum at your own pace, using the circle icons on the floor to navigate from location to location. Check back often to see what’s new and on view.

JSMA virtual tours are made possible with the support of the Art Bridges Foundation and our members.

Audio Tours

The JSMA invites visitors to bring their cell phones to select exhibitions for an interactive audio guide through the Guide by Cell program. Audio tours bring you closer to the art by expressing the views of curators, students, professors, community members, and local children. When touring the museum, look for the Guide by Cell logo on text panels and labels for more information. Audio tours are available by calling (541) 787-3003.

The JSMA's Guide by Cell program is supported in part by a grant from the Oregon Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
