Building Community Through Art: A Workshop for UO Faculty, Students, and Staff

Please join us for a hands-on art exploration with Artist-in-Residence Steve Prince. Prince is the Director of Engagement and Distinguished Artist-in-Residence at the Muscarelle Museum of Art at William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Steve engages and connects communities by creating interactive Communal Quilt Project together. His work often expresses how a creative experience builds a common ground that strengthen empathy and connections for a community. Participants will have the opportunity to display their completed pieces as part of an exhibition opening in the JSMA Education Corridor Galleries in June 2024 at JSMA.
