This free family day will be filled with art activities for children of all ages and will be inspired by celebrations and artistic traditions from around the world. Art activities include manga, origami, calligraphy, ex votos, holiday cards, dragons, and miniature paper lanterns. Performances include story time and songs highlighting multicultural celebrations, Charrería (Skillful Roping), Dragon Puppet Theatre performance of Raven and Petrel, a Northwest Native American tale, and museum tours will be offered in Spanish and English.
