Support the JSMA!

Each year, the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art relies on contributions from friends like you to help us fulfill our mission and become one of the finest University Art museums in the world.

Last year, we welcomed more than 60,000 visitors and served more than 100,000 people through our outreach and offsite programs.

  • More than 5,000 K-12 students enjoyed field trips to the museum. Thanks to support from donors like you, we provided Fill Up the Bus scholarships to 62% of field trip students.
  • More than 9,000 UO students took classes in the museum.
  • Each year, more than 50 UO students work as researchers, department assistants, interns, and visitor services staff

It takes considerable resources to run these programs. If it weren’t for your generosity, it simply wouldn’t be possible. Please donate today!

Major Gifts and Planned Giving

The JSMA benefits from the generosity of individuals who make major gifts to the museum. These individuals have underwritten entire educational programs, established endowments, and sponsored major exhibitions and other special projects.

If you are interested in learning more about making a major gift or planned gift to the JSMA, please contact Esther Harclerode, Senior Associate Director of Development, (541) 346-7476 or estherh@uoregon.edu.

Estate gifts lay the foundation for the future of the JSMA. Consider talking to a member of the University of Oregon’s Office of Gift Planning at (541) 346-1687 or giftplan@uoregon.edu to learn how you can designate the museum in your estate plan.
