Support the JSMA with a gift to the Annual Fund!

University of Oregon Museum of Art, ca. 1932Gifts to the Annual Fund provide critical, unrestricted operating support to the JSMA. Distinct from Membership, (which offers tangible benefits such as museum discounts and a members’ newsletter), gifts to the Annual Fund are 100% tax deductible and help the museum present its public programs, including:
  • Dynamic special exhibitions and publications
  • The care and presentation of nearly 13,000 objects
  • Educational offerings, such as school tours, teacher training, outreach kits, and the Interactive Discovery Gallery
  • Interesting lectures, Family Days, artist workshops and classes

While the JSMA receives a portion of its budget from the state and the University of Oregon, it is only because of the donations to the Annual Fund that the museum can provide its varied and unique programs to its constituents. Please consider making a gift today! All donors to the Annual Fund will be acknowledged in the JSMA’s Annual Report, published each autumn.

Major Gifts

The JSMA also relies on the generosity of individuals who make major gifts to the museum. These individuals have underwritten entire educational programs, established endowments, sponsored major exhibitions and other special projects. To thank donors for their generosity, the JSMA tailors benefits according to the size of the gift and the donor’s wishes.
