Are you a UO student looking for a way to become more involved on campus?
The JSMA Student Member Advocacy Council – JSMAC – connects the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art with UO students. If you are interested in art, art history, nonprofit management, museum studies, public relations, or have ideas about student engagement we would like you to join!
JSMAC involves students in museum programming, raises awareness of the museum on campus, and works to further the mission of the JSMA.
As a JSMAC Member, you would:
- Promote JSMA’s exhibitions, programs, and events to UO students.
- Recruit new JSMA student members.
- Plan awesome student events and programs at the museum.
- Gain experience in outreach, event planning, and museum administration.
- Enjoy private exhibition openings and behind the scenes tours.
