Open Studio: NewArt NW Kids

The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art’s education studio will be open for children and their families to drop in to utilize a selection of the museum’s art materials to create artwork in response to this year’s annual New Art NW Kids prompts inspired by the beauty, mystery, and importance of the natural world. Parents/Guardians must stay with their children throughout the duration of the workshop. Artwork created during the Open Studio can be submitted for consideration in the 2026 New Art NW Kids exhibition, Art, Nature, & The Land. The program is free, but pre-registration is required. 20 spots available. Please email artheals@uoregon.edu to reserve a spot. You will receive a confirmation from a JSMA museum staff member.
